  • Camera and Photos: We access your camera and photo library to allow you to upload photos of pets, your profile picture, and other images related to pet adoption and fostering.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about your device, including device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers. 

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service
  • To notify you about changes to our Service
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service

Account Deletion

How to Request Account Deletion

Rescue Rituals provides you with the ability to delete your account and associated data directly through the mobile application. To request account deletion, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Rescue Rituals mobile app on your device
  2. Navigate to the Profile screen (accessible from the bottom navigation menu) 
  3. Tap the “Delete Account” button located at the bottom of the Profile screen 
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

What Data is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems:

  • Profile Information: Your name, email address, phone number, profile picture, and all personal details
  • Pet Data: Any pets you have registered, including pet profiles, photos, videos, and related information
  • Chat Messages: All chat conversations and messages associated with your account
  • Meeting Requests: All meeting requests, scheduled meetings, and meeting history
  • Payment Information: Payment records and transaction history (note: some financial records may be retained as required by law)
  • Account Settings: All preferences, settings, and customizations
  • Location Data: Stored location information associated with your account

Important Notes:

  • Permanent Deletion: Once your , all associated data is permanently removed from our systems and cannot be recovered. This action is irreversible.
  • Processing Time: Account deletion is typically processed immediately upon confirmation. However, some data may remain in backup systems for up to 30 days before being permanently purged.
  • Legal Requirements: We may retain certain information as required by law, legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. This may include transaction records, fraud prevention data, or information necessary for legal compliance.
  • Third-Party Services: If you have used third-party services (such as payment processors) through our app, you may need to contact those services separately to delete data stored with them.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. 

Child Safety Standards

Rescue Rituals (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting children and maintaining a safe environment for all users of our mobile application and services. This document outlines our Child Safety Standards and our zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAE).

Our Commitment to Child Safety

Rescue Rituals operates the Rescue Rituals Mobile Application and Website (the “Service”) with the highest standards of child safety and protection. We are dedicated to preventing, detecting, and reporting any content or behavior that threatens the safety of children.

Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAE)

Rescue Rituals explicitly and strictly prohibits:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAE): Any content, including but not limited to images, videos, text, or any other material that depicts, describes, or promotes child sexual abuse, exploitation, or harm to minors.
  • Exploitation of Minors: Any activity that exploits, harms, or endangers children in any way.
  • Inappropriate Content Involving Minors: Any content that is inappropriate, harmful, or exploitative when involving individuals under the age of 18.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Rescue Rituals maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any content, behavior, or activity that:

  • Depicts, describes, or promotes child sexual abuse or exploitation
  • Involves the sexualization of minors
  • Facilitates or enables harm to children
  • Violates any laws protecting children from sexual abuse or exploitation

Reporting and Enforcement

If you encounter any content or behavior that violates these Child Safety Standards:

  1. Immediate Reporting: Report it immediately through our in-app reporting feature or contact us directly at admin@myrescuerituals.com with the subject line “Child Safety Violation Report”.
  2. Law Enforcement: We will immediately report any suspected CSAE to the appropriate law enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement agencies.
  3. Account Termination: Any user found to have violated these standards will have their account immediately and permanently terminated, and all relevant information will be provided to law enforcement. 

Our Actions

Rescue Rituals takes the following actions to protect children:

  • Content Moderation: We actively monitor and review content uploaded to our Service to identify and remove any prohibited material.
  • Automated Detection: We employ automated systems and technologies to detect and prevent the upload or sharing of CSAE.
  • User Reporting: We provide easy-to-use reporting mechanisms for users to report suspicious or harmful content.
  • Cooperation with Authorities: We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations in investigations related to child safety violations.
  • Regular Training: Our team receives regular training on identifying and responding to child safety concerns.

Age Restrictions

Our Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. 

Legal Compliance

Rescue Rituals complies with all applicable laws and regulations related to child protection, including but not limited to:
